Speakers announced for Learning Waves Skillnet Sales Managers Forum.
Learning Waves Skillnet is delighted to announce its panel of speakers for their upcoming Sales Managers Forum which will take place on Tuesday 25th April 2017 in the Clarion Hotel, Liffey Valley, Dublin. The forum will be facilitated by Mark Richardson from Mark Richardson and Associates.
Alongside Mark, the following speakers will share their views on the challenges and opportunities that exist for the sector in 2017 and beyond:
Nick Fletcher, Core Knowledge who is a Group Board Director at Core Media where he has worked for 19 Years. Nick began his career with Leo Burnett Media in London in their television department working on the Procter & Gamble TV account across the UK. He moved to Ireland in 1997 where he continued to work on the Irish Procter & Gamble business with Young Advertising. He then moved to Mediavest to manage the P&G account and the agenciesother TV business. He is a lead lecturer for Core Knowledge, presenting on topics including TV, AV and thewider planning process. He also manages learning and development for the entire Core Media Group. He has worked on many award-winning campaigns – including P&G’s current “Like A Girl” campaign.
Jen Walsh, Core Knowledge who is Head of Digital at ZenithOptimedia. With her degree is in Visual Communications, she began her career in advertising as a graphic designer and moved into digital media seven years ago. Jen leads digital projects for her clients through all critical stages of strategic planning, implementation and insights. She helps her clients identify areas for growthand develops digital strategies to generate results. Working across campaigns fromnumerous sectors, with varying objectives has given her exceptionally diverseexperience in all things digital media- display, social, PPC, SEO, video and content. Jen has worked on some really exciting accounts including IDA, Red Bull, Credit Union,Tesco, H&M, J&J and Jack Daniel's.
Both Nick and Jen will share with the audience an overview of the current media landscape from an advertiser perspective.
Brian McCarthy, National Sales Director, Urban Media who will share a case study on ‘Understanding the relationship between radio and digital’.
Marlese Louw, On the Button, Marlese has 10 years training experience combined with 10 years business experience in marketing and retail which provides a unique combination of skills that enable her to see problems and solutions from both sides of the table. She spent 9 years in charge of all of Harvey Norman's advertising in ROI and NI. Marlese started On The Button in 2013 which is a business focused on finding sticking points within businesses and implementing workflow improvements, new systems, workshops and training to improve efficiencies of team members.
Marlese will share with us her thoughts and insights on buyer and retailer behaviour in 2017 and how radio can benefit from this.
The forum is an opportunity for Sales Managers from across the Independent Commercial Radio Sector in Ireland to network, to hear from experts in the areas of advertising, client relationships and much more.
