Choose Radio : Turn it Up 2018.
The line up for the Choose Radio : Turn it Up 2018 event has been finalised this week. The event will take place in the Round Room of the Mansion House in Dublin on Thursday June 28th from 2pm to 5pm. The line up boasts a host of national and international speakers from around the radio world. The key note speaker at the event is Ralph Van Dijk, Creative Director and Founder of Ear Drum in Australia. Ralph will talk to the audience about the Power of Audio and how using radio can significantly increase brand awareness and drive brand sales. A unique feature of Ralphs presentation will be to show the audience how to turn a digital/TV ad into a radio ad and to convince brands about the power of radio when advertising. This will be followed by a presentation from Niall Power, Head of Station Sound at Beat 102-103 in Waterford on 'Top ten promotions from around the world'. Niall presented this at Radio Days Europe in Vienna in March 2018 to a packed room and his session received some of the best feedback during the two day conference. This presentation will have something for the creatives and the programmers attending on the day.
This will then be followed by a panel discussion featuring presenters from across local, regional and national radio stations who will tell the audience how to get competitions/promotions on their shows and how getting the best fit for the radio audience and the advertiser can yield maximum results for both. The panel includes Dermot Whelan from Today FM, Dan Healy from 2FM, KC from Cork's 96FM, Ann-Marie Kelly from Midlands 103 and Colm Hayes from Nova. The panel discussion will be facilitated by Andy Macken from Media Central.
The final session of the day will showcase an Irish musician who will tell the audience how radio made them successful. Full details to be confirmed by the end of this week.
The overall event will be brought to you by Choose Radio and Learning Waves Skillnet and will be hosted by Classic Hits 4FM Breakfast Presenter and Comedian PJ Gallagher.
It is an event not to be missed by programmers/sales executives/commercial directors/agency planners and creatives and those who work across the digital channels in radio and agenices. To book your place at this event go to : https://chooseradio.eventbrite.ie/
