Learning Waves Skillnet has developed a 2 day Basic Skills in Radio course aimed at those who have less than 12 months experience in the industry and at those who wish to develop a career in the industry. The two days will cover basic skills in interviewing, editing, operating the desk, a basic understanding of how radio works and the skills required to work as a presenter in radio. The pilot of the programme will run in KCLR 96FM in Kilkenny on 31st August and 7th September. Places are limited so booking early is advised.
