Corks 96FM Radiothon raises €385,566 for 5 Cancer Care Services in Cork.

Radiothon 2020 did not happen due to #Covid19 but the team at Corks 96FM were back from 20th to 22nd May 2021 with their Giving for Living Radiothon which raised funds for the Mercy Hospital, Cork University Hospital, Marymount Hospice, Breakthrough Cancer Research and Cork Arc Cancer Support House.

In 2019 the Giving for Living Radiothon 2019 Giving for Living Radiothon was a huge success, raising over €440,451 to support the above cancer services in Cork.  The Radiothon is the biggest local radio fundraiser in Ireland and has raised over €5m to date.   

The team at Corks 96FM asked people to get involved by tuning in to the station over the 3 days to hear how these funds have supported individuals, families and organisations.  Individuals and organisations organisd their own fundraising events or they simply donated by going to https://www.radiothon.ie/. 

In total, €385,566 was raised over the 3 days, a fantastic effort by all at Corks 96FM and the people of Cork.
