How to get that Sales appointment.
This was one of the topics discussed at our Introduction to Radio Sales training with Golden Apple Training on 12th March 2014. According to the trainer and delegates, the following can help you to get that ultimate appointment :
- Research the client
- Tell the client that their target market is your audience, we have the people you need to talk too
- Tell the client what you did for a similar client and how it worked for them
- Don't say too much on the phone, don't talk yourself out of the appointment
- Make sure you are speaking to the right person
- Explain briefly to them how your station can help their business
- Ensure your conversation tone is correct
- Tell them you would like to learn more about their goals for their business
- Tell them you have a good idea for their business
- Be an expert as far as the client is concerned.
