Course Brief

This module is the first module of the Mobile Content for Radio Diploma and will focus specifically on mobile photography.  The two day course will be delivered by award winning iPhone Photographer, Brendan Ó Sé and with founder of Titanium Media, Glen Mulcahy.  This module will allow you the time to perfect your mobile photography skills as the first step in your mobile journey.

Cork native Brendan Ó Sé is an award-winning fine art photographer/iPhone photographer and the iPhone Photographer of the Year, 2017. Brendan was part of the original Apple World Gallery of images shot on iPhone 6 in 2015. As well as winning many awards in international prestigious competitions, Brendan has been invited to speak about and exhibit his work around the world. His mobile photography workshops in Ireland are very popular and he has also given workshops in places such as Cyprus, Iceland, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Hong Kong. Using the iPhone he tries to see and create in unusual ways and this results in some unique imagery and striking street photography.

Glen Mulcahy is Founder of Mojofest Ltd, the company behind Mojofest and Titanium Media, a media training and consultancy firm which specializes in mobile journalism and social video storytelling.

The former head of innovation with RTÉ, Ireland’s national public broadcaster, he has inspired and driven the growth of mobile journalism within RTÉ’s newsroom and across other European broadcasters. Glen initiated RTÉ’s mobile journalism project (“mojo”) and RTÉ is still successfully using mobile devices and apps to create finished news stories for broadcast and online which reach the highest possible quality standards. He also founded of Mojocon- the 1st international mobile journalism conference which was held on an annual basis from 2015-2017, Mojofest is his own independent version of this event.
