Course Brief
This course will be delivered by Ken Foxe who is a writer, researcher, trainer and co-director of the transparency organisation Right to Know. Ken has more than 20 years experience in journalism and he now specialises in information access, using Freedom of Information, Access to Information on the Environment(AIE), and other ways to access public records. In this role, Ken delivers training in techniques for information access to national newspapers, regional media, NGO's and others. The course will cover all aspects of the Freedom of Information Act and how journalists can make requests, appeal requests and useful links that will help journalists in their role.
