As the Station Manager of Northern Ireland’s biggest radio station – BBC Radio Ulster, Jackie was responsible for smooth running of BBC Radio Ulster on air and behind the scenes. Strong editorial leadership skills were developed as the Executive Producer of award-winning satirical comedy, sit-coms, live music, documentary & magazine programmes.
For ten years Jackie was a committee member of the IMRO/PPI Irish Radio Awards Board. During that time Jackie also developed cross-border initiatives in training and work experience between BBC Northern Ireland and the Learning Waves training organisation. For over 16 years Jackie has been a regular member of judging panels for the SONY, ARIA, PPI, IMRO and Celtic Media Awards.
