Dawn Wheatley.

Dr Dawn Wheatley is an assistant professor in the School of Communications in DCU. She is currently the chairperson of the BA Journalism programme, and teaches a mixture of theoretical and practical modules, including data journalism. Dawn previously worked as a production journalist for the Irish Daily Mail and the Irish Times before completing her PhD in 2017. Her main research interests relate to sources and voices in the news, and how digital news production practices are impacting journalistic content.
